Above two pictures are from Thanksgiving dinner at our friends' house. You can see my kabocha (instead of regular pumpkin) pie on the island in the white quiche pan (I ran out of pie plates).
Naughty Ramsey! Can you see his scheming smile?! He spent Saturday morning building this trebuchet which he got for Christmas last year. He wanted to show it to me and asked me to stand right there and launched the trebuchet *at me* intentionally ha ha ha.
I've been working on a tailcoat for Sophie (Ramsey's age, we went to preschool together) who is in a performance in Sat 12/5. Here is her sparkly tailcoat which took about 4-6 hours to sew. I finished it on Sunday.
Ramsey went to Spencer's house on Sunday from 12-4pm. Anthony kept saying, "I need ATTENTION! I need someone to play with *me*! I want to play games together." So we played cards, Memory and Hendrik played Stratego with him. Doesn't he have a naughty face too?
We were invited to the Yun's holiday party at the Menlo Circus Club (think country club that has a swimming pool, lots of tennis courts and polo fields) on Sun 11/29 night. There were 200+ people there with a buffet dinner, open bar, dessert, dance floor, photo booth and poker tables! Ramsey immediately went to play poker and didn't leave there for the nearly 2.5 hours we were at the party. He only stepped away from the table to get dinner (and eat at the table), get ice cream and get drinks (sparkly water with syrup). Hendrik taught Anthony how to play Texas Hold'Em and Ant loves it. Ramsey was *LOUD*. We could hear him from where we sat to eat. We didn't know very many people there…the boy in the white sweater next to Ramsey has been on Ramsey's spring little league team and his fall (this past fall) Xtreme team. What an extravagant holiday party!
We asked a random teen/tween to take our family pic as we were leaving. I love this pic. We are all smiling! Anthony is wearing a sweater that I knit for Ramsey a long time ago and which Ram wore when he was age 5-6. I will have to put up some pics from when Ram wore it. Ant has outgrown all his pants so he is wearing a pair of jeans of Rams that Ram just outgrew a year ago. It is huge on Ant and Ant is wearing a belt. Don't worry, I have ordered new pants from Gap for Ant.
