Ramsey arrived at his game about 5-10 minutes late because we got the start time mixed up…but Coach put him in nearly right away. There were 10 boys at the game and the Coach let them all have equal playing time. The beginning of these pics show Ram with his mouth open a lot -- he says he is talking, asking for help, commenting etc. Ramsey didn't get a lot of opportunity to shoot and he only made 2 free throw baskets and his team won 38 to 30 or something like that. The bottom series of photos show how much hustle Ram has -- he is always diving and fighting for the ball and ends up on the ground a lot.
Hen said that at the end of Sat 12/12's practice, Coach asked the boys to name the player who is the most dependable, reliable and competitive on the team. Most kids named either Davis or Billy and Coach said he thought the #1 is Davis. He then asked the kids to name the #2 and most said Billy. Coach said no, it's RAMSEY! Wow, Hendrik was there listening and was super surprised. Coach has noticed that Ramsey hustles, plays defense, helps out on defense and doesn't give up. Good job Ramsey!
