Last Week of School Before Winter Break
We went to the Saturday playgroup holiday party at Linda's house on Sun 12/13 night right after Ramsey's NJB basketball game.
Anthony and I are nearly done with his 1000 piece Imaginary Dragons puzzle that Sinter Claas gave him.
I baked raspberry almond thumbprints for a cookie exchange party at Julie's house on Tuesday morning. The recipe says to make sure the cookies cool at least 30 minutes before putting the icing/glaze on top. I got lazy and glazed the last 6 about 10 minutes after they came out of the oven -- can you see the ones that are still warm?
These were the other cookies that the other women brought.
Here is the tray of cookies that I came home with! I have one more cookie exchange party to go to on Sat night...
Check out Ant's pasta mouth. I made pasta for lunch one day this week and he ate the extras for breakfast and failed to wipe his mouth before leaving for school. I was driving carpool in the morning this week. Ant sits in the front of the Prius in morning carpool.
Thurs 12/17 Ant's class had their winter party at 1pm. I found Ant eating with Casey (who was dressed very similar to Ant in the same shorts and a light colored shirt) when I arrived. Ayden jumped into the picture. Later I asked why he was eating with only Casey. Ant said that Ayden, James and Siena wanted their private time so Ant and Casey said they wanted private time. Hmm...

Ant and Ayden were partners in the winter party snowman making craft. The class used 30 lbs of rice to fill men's tube socks, sectioned the tube into snowman balls with rubber bands and decorated their snowmen with hot glue guns and decorations. Ant and Ayden made the *same* snowman.
There were cookies, popcorn, Cutie oranges (I brought those), water and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was a hit.
All the snowmen on display at the front of the class...
