Serving Breakfast at Homeless Shelter
Rowan's mom set up a service project at a homeless shelter in Redwood City. We brought and served breakfast for about 70 people this morning. The kids served. There were about 7 families and we brought different things. Annie helped me make 36 banana crumb muffins and 36 hard boiled eggs. After serving breakfast, the residents asked the kids to sing Christmas songs (big group pic) but Ramsey's mouth just flapped open and close! He doesn't know the words to many songs ha ha. When we left I asked him what he learned. He said nothing. I hoped by being exposed to homeless people he will realize how good of a life he has!
