San Francisco 49ers Game

Hen's friend Weich has season tickets to the San Francisco 49ers games at the 1 year old Levi's Stadium. He and his wife couldn't go this past Mon 9/14 so we bought the tickets from them. This was my first and likely last time to go to a 49ers game.

We took a 5:30 Caltrain express from Menlo Park to Mountain View and then a long Light Rail train to Levi's Stadium. We got there say 6:15 and then it took a while to get through security. While standing in line I was amazed at the amount of drunk and/or tattooed people! It was what I consider a rough looking crowd with a lot of 20- and 30-somethings. I felt old and definitely boring! What? No tattoos?! Yep, that's me. The game started at 7:20 and we had good seats on the second level at the end zone area. The game ended at say 10:00 and then we had to manage our way back to Light Rail. Our friends Andreas and Jen have season tickets and Andreas took our friend Chris (with Hen under the Intel Gate sign) to the game. Andreas drove to the Mountain View station and we got a ride home with him. We walked in the door at 11:45! What a long night. :) (Yes, the boys babysat themselves. I had soup ready for them and they had soup for dinner, went over to Michael's to play Minecraft for say an hour and came home, brushed their teeth, read and went to bed at 8:30 and 8:45pm for Ant and Ram respectively.)
