Ramsey's Xtreme Tournament 9/4 to 9/6

Ramsey's Xtreme team this fall is the Hackers. There are two teams that are age 12U (12 and under in baseball age years) for Xtreme and the other team is called Thunder. Thunder and Hackers play on alternate weekends. Thunder had a tournament this past weekend and the team is short one player (Enzo who was at Serene Lake when we were there visiting the Quinlan's; Enzo broke his arm) and asked if Ramsey would sub for this tournament. (I think the plan is Ramsey and another boy on Hackers named Luke will alternately sub for Thunder this fall…meaning Ram would play 3 out of 4 weekends in a 4 week period.)



Ramsey pitched the first 2 innings of the first game. I was surprised they would let a sub play pitcher (desired position) for the first game ever for Thunder. Ramsey pitched okay but let in a grand slam in the first inning and another home run in the second inning. Ramsey did not hit well for the entire tournament. I think he was 1 for or 7 at bats. Not good at all so he has work cut out for him in the batting department.
