Ramsey's Hackers team had their 3rd game of the tournament on Sun 9/13 in SAN JOSE. It wasn't at the usual tournament spot (Twin Creeks in Sunnyvale) because there were a lot of teams entered in this tournament and the organizers had to find a separate field. The game started at 10:15am and I was to score keep so I tried to get there early enough to set up. Another mom came to pick up Ramsey (and the other 4 kids from Menlo Park/Atherton) at 8:30am so I only had to get myself to the field by say 10:00. Well you see those freeway overpasses behind the boys warming up in the top most pictures? I was on there at 9:57am but I could not get to this field…the streets were so convoluted! I got there are the first pitch was happening (Ramsey pitching), argh. The above 8 pictures were taken by Luke's dad Joe.
Ramsey pitched 2 and 2/3 innings and let in SIX runs. The other team was hitting very well but Ramsey didn't pitch all that well. He had at least 3 walks in those 2 2/3 innings.
Anthony had his first Fall Ball game on Sunday 2:30-4:30pm. He played catcher for 2 innings and did great. He loves to catch. He hit a double or triple (he calls it a triple, I call it a double with an extra base on the throw) and was so happy. Anthony also had a soccer game earlier in the day from 11:30-12:30 (they won 1-0) but I was at Ramsey's baseball game and Hendrik didn't take any pics.
